Second Beach features an easily accessed coastline near La Push, Washington. The trail to the beach requires a thirty minute walk up and down a ridge. One can walk for several miles south along the beach from the entry before reaching a headland that is impassable. This photograph received "Top 100" recognition in a U.S. Park Service Photo Contest in 2007.
