Lupine, bear grass, and Indian paintbrush abound along the shores of Tipsoo Lake, a popular destination on the east side of Mt. Rainier near Chinook Pass. The trail around Tipsoo Lake is part of a larger one called the Naches Loop which affords a hiker outstanding views of Mt. Rainier, especially in morning light. Flowers are plentiful everywhere on the Naches Loop.
